My little girl has a "boyfriend." Since they were babies in the nursery at church, they have been best buds. For the longest time if you asked Elena where we were going on Sunday mornings, it was never "to church" it was always "to see Colten." When asked by a high-school girl if he would be her boyfriend, Colten simply replied, "I already have a girlfriend and her name is Elena."
This weekend, was the "boyfriend's" birthday party. He is into being a super-hero so I made him his very own super-hero cape and mask. I think it might have been a hit. After he opened it, he happily wore it for the remainder of the party. The only problem is, I'm going to have to make one for Elena now, too!
